Creating Engaging Modules in EDALSA Network: A Step-by-Step Guide

EdALSA Network offers a powerful platform for crafting impactful online learning experiences. This article will guide you through creating engaging modules within EDALSA Network, covering the module page, builder, and settings options.

Step 1: Navigate to the Module Builder

  1. In your dashboard, go to Courses.
  2. Select the course where you want to create a module.
  3. Click the “Add new Lesson” button.
  4. Rename the lesson title to the desired module name (e.g., “Module 1: Introduction”).
  5. Click the “Add Lesson” button again.

Step 2: Explore the Module Page

The main module page displays an overview of its components:

  • Module Title & Description: These give learners a clear understanding of the module’s content.
  • Topic List: This section displays the individual topics within the module.
  • Settings: Here, you can manage access restrictions, prerequisites, and other course settings.

Step 3: Utilize the Module Builder

  • Drag-and-Drop Interface: Add various learning elements by dragging them from the left sidebar to the main content area.
  • Content Types: Explore a variety of options, including text, quizzes, videos, audio, downloadable files, and assignments.

  • Quiz Settings: Configure quiz elements like passing score, retries, and time limits.
  • Advanced Options: Explore additional settings like drip-feed content, custom CSS, and certificates.
